2007 Artist's Reception Wed. Aug 22 6-9pm

Most esteemed artists,
We had intended to have a reception to honor the artists in the Festival on Saturday night, August 25. We have reconsidered. Our feeling is that you would be too harried after the first day of exhibiting to enjoy a reception that evening. Accordingly, we have re-scheduled the reception for Wednesday night, August 22, 2007, 6-9 p.m., at the San Francisco Yacht Club, 98 Beach Road, Belvedere. We hope you (and a guest) will be able to attend. Dress: casual; parking: ample.
In addition to the artists, we are inviting representatives of organizations and companies who have generously acted as sponsors, members of the Tiburon Art Festival Committee, the Honorary Chairs of the event, and others involved in the Festival.
We will be serving food and champagne and wine. Realizing that most artists, of course, eschew spirits, we will also have copious amounts of Diet Coke.
This is our first Art Festival and we are working hard to make it a success. Your participation is the cornerstone of what we hope will be an outstanding event.

2007 Tiburon Art Festival

This event may be the highlight of the summer. It is expected that world class art will be exhibited along quaint Ark Row in Tiburon and that attendees will be so enraptured they won't want to leave and will insist the festival continue through New Year's. The stores and galleries along Ark Row will be open and will probably be subjected to a stampede and run out of merchandise. There will be music (the SF Symphony sent its regrets and the Metropolitan Opera seems like a long shot) and food (we're trying to reach the French Laundry in St. Helena for a donation but their phone is always busy) and much gaiety. It is rumored that people are already in line for the port-a-potties altho the festival is not until late August.
